How Modernization kills the Forest

As time goes by, cities expand because of modernization. This means when the cities expand; then the forests will be sacrificed. This also means that there will be thousands, millions, or even billion of trees that will be cut off so people can build things because of modernization. Imagine how many trees is that. Is it bad though?

For me, cutting trees is bad. Without replacing it, it’s even worse. But cutting trees and actually replacing it by planting trees somewhere else will help preserve our planet. Because we can’t prevent the modernization to happen the humanity needs it, but we can still save trees and forests even though we go through modernization.

So, how many trees were cut down each year? According to the website IntactForests.org, there are 919,000 square meters of landscapes are reduced globally. That is an estimation of 3.5 billion to 7 billion trees every year. That’s a lot of trees.
